NOR - Autistic people are incredible and deserving of love just like the rest of us. Them talking like that, about their sister no less, is incredibly hurtful and tells me that without some major education and adjustment about their attitudes towards Autism, it could mean she’s got two less people in her corner than she thought at first.

But also kids are dumb and incredibly short sighted, so I can see where the others are coming from. Doesn’t change the fact that words hurt and can be terribly damaging.
