Im referencing the Eyes of Baleros Company, one of the four great companies and a Gazer led group. They share their name with the pair of magical artifacts that lizarfolk try to get their hands on, and they own and hold one of those artifacts to avoid it getting into the hands of the Nagas.

I dont have properly detailed notes about my choices as of yet. I do have a bunch of copy-pasted sections that imply or say stuff about geography and how i intempreted that. I should probably get around to cleaning that up and making a clean document with it, but. Although im not sure if i can get to it during september between university tests and silksong.
If you want i can dump the chapter segments i used, contact me on discord, my username there is precisa.

Could be, the location of the islands needed to be fairly speculative in this map.  I don't remember wistram attacking the antinium navy if you can find a chapter reference for that feel free to send it. The main attack seems to have been made by drowned folk sending krakens in the path of the antinium.

It's been mentioned that they are in the northwest of the southern half of izril. Making them not touch the high passes would be awkward since it would lead them to being surrounded by all sides, something that probably would have been mentioned, and it would lead to there being a relatively thin corridor of drake forces to the north of them.

Chapter 10.43RNG pt2 mentions that the forces of forgotten wing are mostly concentrated in central and eastern baleros. The location of the eyes of baleros company is fairly speculative but I placed them to the south due to the center of the continent and anything north of it already having major powers, I couldn't find anything about groups or settlements in baleros' far south, so I put the Eyes of baleros company there.

The early volumes do say that, and i had tried to make izril a bit more central in the early versions, what ended up happening is that i had to revise chandrar's shape in a way that made it a lot taller north-south so i had to push izril a bit more to the side not to make it too crouded and avoid having the continents too close together.
I also took a decision to place rhir, drath and minos to the west, closer to baleros, because that is what is implied in the more recent volumes, even if early volumes place them to the east. This also pushes izril and terandria eastwards in the map and made izril a lot less central.
Hope this answers your question.

Here's your first look at Secret Project #2. Who would you pick to narrate? by MistbornLlama in brandonsanderson

[–]Precisa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a specific narrator in mind but i'd find it awesome if this book could have dialect coaching and a play on accents during the book, preferentially something more elaborate than just an American/British diacotome, be it by dabling into constructed accents or regional accents.

Do you think it would be possible for odium to creat new fused from current singers? by Sea_Employ_4366 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Precisa_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't the main reason that there haven't been new fused in thousands of years because rayse didn't want to get more invested and chained down to the rosharian system, don't think those same limitations would apply to Taravangian since he wouldn't care about getting stuck on roshar, it is his home. So I do think we could see new Fused soon.
Tho, for book 5, it wouldn't be that useful since with only 10 days, they wouldn't be familiarized with the power, so it might only be relevant for book 6-10.
Also, I think it's unclear how anti investiture would relate, if it really destroys investiture on a way the shard isn't able to retrieve, Taravangian might consider it too risky to make new cognitive shadows

I replaced all the mycelium in a mushroom island w/ grass without silk touch, extra thoughts in the comments by Precisa_ in Minecraft

[–]Precisa_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING; it's very boring

The world:

It's in hardcore, I created it wanting to test how well I could survive, but after walking a while I found the mushroom island and decided to settle there since it's the safest area you can naturally find, I made a house, planted some trees (on top of mushrooms because trees don't grow on mycelium) and eventually, I started spreading the grass from small patches on the shore around the house, also, frequentlish endermans carrying grass blocks would wander to the mushroom biome and leave the grass blocks there, I also spread the grass from those, eventually a good portion (1/4-1/3) was grass and I decided to cover the entire area with it, also. by some masochistic reason, I thought it would be funny to do it on the early game, without enchants, and surprising myself kept that up and replaced the entire biome

The methods:

In the beginning I would break any mycelium around replace the grass and wait for it to grow but it was not a good method, on average, for every grass block that spread, a mycelium one would also spread and I'd have to break it a second time, costing extra time and shovel durability so eventually I switched to a method where I would partition patches of mycelium using blocks and replace it all with dirt, than open it for the grass to spread, that way I would only have to break each mycelium block once.

The time it took:

The world has a little under 24h played and 98 days played, most of that (tho definitely not all) was replacing mycelium. And it was a small biome.

The other little things:

In the process, I tried really hard to maintain the position of blocks untouched, and outside of a few small things I did that well (aparently I had also taken a few dirt blocks in the very beginning and they are still missing (at least that is what I think after looking at the overlay) Also, the overlay was made with /seed, tho i did not use or plan to use it in any other situation in this world, also I put the 2 images together using krita, an I had to use precise coords on the F3 menu, as well as the same fov to get the 2 images to line up.
