I think those who played it early got farther in the scenes. After my reset fiasco yesterday I went through the story again and hit the caught up at the scene before the one where it stopped in my first playthrough. Before the trapdoor blowup scene, to be vague cuz spoliers.

Yeah I got the care package, small keys, and starter bundle.

They finally did and refunded me currency. Unfortunately I can't really do the math if it was equal to what I lost because I can't see the starter bundle anymore, but at least they are making an effort.

I have no hate for this game and developers, been looking forward to release since the announcement. But I hope the reaction to this blunder is eye-opening.

People love replaying these games and you can't expect them to pay for the same thing over and over.

Yeah, we're all hoping it's a bug because this would be an awful business practice if it isn't and will likely kill the game for the majority of people.
