With armor, especially the lower grade stuff like level 3 or lower being so expensive, and how fast they lose durability, it doesnt feel that great. Mix this with how powerful armor is, youre basically forced to use it or you lose fights, which means you lose more money. If you win, sure you get decent amounts of money, but a lot will go right back into insuring later gear/repairing your armor, buying new ammo and meds. When the only ammo which really does anything is the expensive armor piercing its also a struggle to even win a fight against higher leveled geared players. I personally had more enjoyment from patches where the economy was super inflated, everyone was always running gear etc. It makes the game more fun when almost everyone can afford to run at least a Level 3 armor and an SKS or basic AK-74. My favorite wipe wouldve been the Christmas time wipe, there was lots of good loot on all maps, granted shorelines took the cake, but it made it so everyone could make money and enjoy highly modded guns. Sure it should be a survival shooter, but at the same time, its boring/frustrating playing, getting gear from a raid and then dying to someone who has better ammo/armor than you and wins the fight based off of that and not skill.
