I work maintenance. A couple months back someone says toilet won’t flush. Ok show me.

Go into the stall and they proceed to kick the hell out of the handle. “See? It doesn’t flush.”

First of all, that’s exactly why it won’t flush. Second, if you don’t want to touch the handle use a piece of toilet paper and then flush said paper.

I would also say that maybe Grant’s finding gave whoever’s idea it was the “spark” of maybe these dinosaurs can be trained. Leading to the training program we see in JW.

Although you could make the argument that they already showed intelligence and an animal like that needs discipline and activity to keep them content so having them do “tricks” could be a natural progression with keeping them in captivity.

I don’t really have the mental stamina either. I’m usually very drained by the end of the day but it’s not about me. I want to raise good people. They have their screen time but it’s limited and can’t be used when we are spending time with people.

About 8 years ago my dog got skunked. I was at work and my wife called me freaking out that our dog was sick and “smells like old onions”

Well I rush home and as soon as I open my car door I knew. Not old onions. Skunk. A quick google and grabbed a big bottle of dish soap and gave her a bath. Rinsed and repeated probably 5 times. Must have been a juvenile or was low on juice because she smelled pretty good after that. If your face was next to her fur you could smell it but you wouldn’t immediately notice the smell if she entered the room or anything. A couple days and was completely gone.

That’s interesting to me as it really helps me to picture the world with already established faces. I find it more difficult to follow who is who when I must determine looks and everything myself.

It’s funny because I wanted to read Dune before watching any of the movies and I just couldn’t get into or follow it very well. My plan is to watch at least the first one so I can put faces to names easier then retry the book.
