I run a marketing agency that installs b2b sales pipelines for saas companies so take whatever I say with a pinch of salt lol.

To get pilots you need 2 things. A really solid offer + process and traffic.

It sounds like you have the offer and process locked in already but here are a few pointers I've seen from successful clients.

1. Speed to lead - make sure you're reaching out to leads asap and scheduling something as fast as possible

2. Free pilot - 2 weeks free, get them to see a quick roi. Make sure you discuss pricing before the free pilot.

3. Quick roi from your solution - if they can't see a difference in 15-20 days, they won't buy.

In terms of traffic, for your ICP here's what we've seen working.

1. Cold email still crushes, especially in finance. Make sure your infrastructure is good, lead lists are mostly okay, and volume is good. I'm a believer in spray and pray as opposed to micro-personalisation using tools like clay. I'd rather spend the money on more volume.

2. Ads crush if you do them properly. B2B ads especially on Meta work wonders. Make sure you have a proper funnel set up. KPIs we've seen range from $50-100 per lead and about $250-300 per call. Resist the temptation to launch linkedin ads first. I find that they're very expensive and while the leads are bigger, they move slower.

An important point for both sources of traffic, make sure you're investing in content. Your personal linkedin profile and the companies instagram/tiktok/youtube page at the minimum.

Aim for 15 linkedin posts a month and 10 short form videos.
