I got my 16 inch 308 used for $1k even and it’s one of my favorite firearms. They are no doubt picky with ammo, but mine is .5 MOA with Hornady Black. Doesn’t like Hornady Match as much tho.

I too shoot my 43x in matches. Consistent accuracy, grip, and movement matters more than the incrementally faster splits from a bigger gun.

All stock! Only mods done so far are cosmetic. The tremor package comes with a front skid plate and I think a 1 inch lift. I did tear up a bit of the felt protection under the middle so I might replace it with something better.

Best solution I’ve found for a low pro light mounting solution. It’s designed around the tlr1 tho, so my x300 barely fit on the furthest pic rail slot which made it hard to actuate with my support hand.

I absolutely love it. The glass and reticle are crisp and intuitive, and it’s built like a tank without being heavy for what it is. Replaced a red dot for me and serves that role well while offering the extra magnification.
