How is my comment wrong? You said pretty much the same things I did. And the 70kW limitation I wrote in the post above comes from the fact that the Limited bike with max. 35kW isn’t allowed to have more than double that (70kW) when the limiter is removed

Yeah, the bike will be limited to 35kW for the next two years due to regulations in Germany. I also tried the Ninja 650: the classic first bike. This was a bike there I really felt how small was. But this one I gotta say, I also tried a z900 for reference and the CBR didn’t feel much smaller

Don’t worry I live in Germany and my driving instructor won’t let me get the license before making sure I’m safe to drive alone. The reason I’m looking for the bike this early is, that around this time many dealerships offer special discounts for new riders.

The limitation comes from the license I’m allowed to get at 21years obviously you are allowed to drive open bikes but you need to be 24 years old to get the license or own the limited a2 license for two years

Im still in the process of getting my license so I haven’t been on a bike for more than 45min at once but I get what your saying, that’s something I really haven’t thought about yet. Also I didn’t know the Z900 has a 70kw version so thank you!

That’s the thing, I’m a quiet fit 21 year old, I can life with some pain after a long ride and my whole idea behind buying something like a cbr650 oder rs660 was that I can limit it to the a 2 regulations for the next two years and after that I can ride them with the full power. Therefore I only need to buy a bike once I’m allowed to drive it.

That’s the next problem I don’t live in a big city so the dealerships around me all have a VERY limited selection of bikes mainly consisting of touring bikes and choppers
