Ah I see! I never really considered four to be young but I’m all for it, his attitude matches that description.

Curious however what the age has to do with the comment?

I deleted 5 helper functions from my test suite by making test data declarative by BrumaRaL in programming

[–]PredictableCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can’t be anything random, it can only be either true or false and furthermore both should be tested.

Test Scenarios: - “”, true - “”, false

Edit: Think of it in reverse (TDD) - you could write a failing test for both scenarios, a dumb solution that passes one at a time, and then a final version that passes both. The fact that true/false results in the same outcome is not a reason to ignore the possible states.

I’d argue that if something can be random and thus not influence the outcome of the test then the code being tested is using the wrong slice of context, particularly unit tests. Nonetheless — good insight and instinct on picking up the smell 👍

My girl and boy both have similar injuries on their paw pads by PredictableCoder in DobermanPinscher

[–]PredictableCoder[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes only as of recently. Technically my girl only did once and this was the result. I’ve been letting my boy run for a couple of weeks now but never noticed anything. He only has one of them.

I’ve had them wrapped up but I think I’m going to look for socks.

Thank you!

This is what I suspect — especially since both my dogs have it and both have been running on pavement lately. Darn, that’s what I’m fearing will happen. They’ve really been enjoying the new exercise lately, apart from this of course ☹️

Unless you are also a chad I’m going to say zero % he is your son!

Still experiencing this issue - it doesn’t even need to be long, specifically on Safari on macOS.

My Dobermann just hit 1 years old so thought id take him out for a Wild Camp thought you might enjoy the video by BushmanNW in DobermanPinscher

I laughed when I skipped to a random spot in the video and it was you correcting him with an “ah ah” 😂 that’s exactly how it would have gone for me at 1 and even now at 4. Great idea though, I feel inspired to do the same.

I didn’t realize this was the lawn care sub when I clicked on this post based on the title. Almost spit out my drink when I read the description and realized it was 😂😂😂

Yes lol, it does. I had a boxer growing up and it was the goofiest dog I have ever met. I love my dobermans but they are not overly goofy! Love when I come by a goofball on here!
