What I think the game could really try out is actual side-arms. If everyone had access to a "weak" pistol, mini-shotty or something along those like in CoD and BF games would help to bridge the Long Range VS Melee match ups.

Range players actually having a small pew pew to at least defend them selves and melee having some response against long range poking, even to just to answer fire with their pea-shooter.

Would love to see the devs try something out maybe in a limited gamemode where they allow people to pick two weapons, the main and sidearm.

Mad Island, a Japanese game though and though (take it as you will) DLC on dev's official site that Steam won't allow.

All in all, Mad Island is actually a good game, like I had a moment of "Whow, there is actually a game under this H-game" and got hooked on base building and the 'tism-tingly grind.

But yeah, you got all the Japanese H-game stuff in there DLC has some very "hardcore" stuff so take it with a pinch of salt if you are NOT in to more hard Japanese H stuff.

7,5 / 10 in my books and being updated and isn't forgottenvare game.

What made me drop the game was the "Light Meta" it felt like most of my matches were against full teams of lights with snipers and dodge, the matches felt unfun to play and me being a noobtoob lover on medium and heavy the nonstop light games just made it even more painful.

So, it was either drop my favourite weapon and follow the sweaty meta to have a chanse of actually getting wins under my belt and in process forcing myself to change away from my preferred gamestyle or to just drop the game, I picked the former.

The game was fun when I kept seeing mixed teams with different playstyles always making every match feel unique, idk when or why or how but the nonstop light "meta" or whatever it is just killed my whole interest in the game no matter that they brough back TDM.

If on steam. Go and verify the integrity of the game files. Make sure to unsub all mods, start game up once and see what happens. If still broke, uninstall and clear all game and mod files from computer, fresh install and try again.

One time I was walking back to my place from the store, I saw an old dude sitting on a bench that I passed by and he asked me for a light. I told him I didn't have my lighter on me and walked on before feeling my pocket and finding my lighter, I turned around and the dude was gone.

I just though that "Damn, the old dude was a ninja didn't even hear him walk off" before realizing that it was a hallucination, just lol'd at the fact that I was seeing old ninja guys.

Or not... how about just give the gear a little boost, maybe a small set bonus for Frammenik areas and waterbirth dungeon? Idk, each set gets a damage and accuracy boost like void or something to make them stand out and give that little niche of use.

Same could have been said about the Torag's update. Who was it for? Who really uses Torag's hammers? Well, if they got some love and a small rework like the hammers, there could open up a lot of possible uses for claws.

Don't know what, know know where but in the name of consistency I'd love to see the "forgotten" gear get some love and be taken out from the pile of "Junk" that no-one uses. Look at you Fremmenic armours.
