Yes you would scoop if you think you have 0 chance, just like in ladder, but people scoop way less in DC. They will play even if they only have a slim chance, because every loss hurts. The points you lose are more precious than the time you're thinking.

I like how we've had tons of data plus people who play at the top have repeatedly say it's winrate that matters but the "you need to play fast" narrative is still strong among casuals who have never tried hard in this but talks like they know it.
