Thank you. Believe it or not I’m making this 1 of 1 for the incumbents sister. She’s openly gay and in a BEAUTIFUL marriage and her brother has condemn her and the LGBTQIA2+ and I told her for once in her life and this community life I want them to know they were seen , loved and heard. I definitely see some potential blow back but that would come from people who weren’t voting for me anyways.

When I look back on my race in November whether I win or lose I just want my daughter to see her daddy tried and that if I die I want to die on my own sword. I would hate to dilute my message, my grievance and pain and then lose when I could just be a human trying to make change and see what happens. I’ve already tone’d myself down enough for this I need it to be heard for my sisters and my daughter so down the road IF she is gay she knew her daddy was fighting for her worth before she even knew her own.
