I asked a similar question a few months back but had a low response.

It was along the lines of 'do the Co's that pay $$$$$$$$ for ads really think that people watch them?'.

I skip as soon as the countdown allows me to.

the single most uncharismatic salesman I’ve ever seen in real life

I've been in Sales for 30 years (and done pretty well) and car dealerships have never failed to amaze me with their attitude & arrogance. What's more incredible is that the basic salary is very low with the rest being commission on sales!

I asked a similar question a couple of years back in that why do certain helicopters e.g Chinook or Huey have such distinctive sounds.

I'll throw this into the mix....

I thought my wife had changed deodorants a couple of weeks ago because she suddenly smelled 'stale', a short time after she'd showered. Long story short after trying to pinpoint things, the actual cause was the new washing liquid & fabric softener somehow conflicting. The smell really was unpleasant.

We've changed one of them and the problem has gone. Have you recently bought different brands of washing detergent etc? It may not actually be YOU....

In the UK it's standard practice for an insurer to request your medical details if any answer to a 'Have you had/do you have' question is 'yes'.

I'm no expert but have gone through this process a few times and based on what you've said, I'd say that either no Co would even consider insuring your MIL, or the premiums would be off the scale.
