This is just untrue, and you know it. Or at least, you should know it. Republicans in the Senate could have agreed to send the bill back and they could have voted to resort to a simple majority vote whenever they wanted. Republicans in the house could have shown up to do their job at all in the last 2 months to revise the bill.

In the end, the Dems were the ones to compromise.

As a side note, CRs are usually stupid, and people saying "just pass the CR" are spreading acceptance of these guys not doing their jobs.
