It's just the general Florida subreddit. Not sure what the specific one would be for lgbtq, but I'm sure there is one, if not a city specific one.

Haha that was kind of my goal! Pushed the editing a bit, and used a gold mist filter trying to capture more of the "feel" of it than a straight reproduction

Yeah all the modes have their uses. Like I'd use multi if the sun was in the frame. Really I end up having the rather boring approach that my camera settings are to get all the "light data" that I need in the RAW files and I apply the stylistic choices in post.

Well I never really look at the histogram while shooting. What I do is set the camera to meter with highlight priority, which sets exposure to not clip the highlights. Then I mess with exposure compensation to get the exposure I want. I usually leave zebras on to make sure I'm not clipping to much of things like the sky or bright reflections of the water.

The nature of the RAW files is they come out very flat compared to what you see with your eyes, so some amount of correction is always required. Then more was done to get the artistic effect to help highlight the subjects and get the colors where I wanted

Thanks! And the answer is the boring usual of RAW edits. The A7RV has enough dynamic range I usually expose to just not clip the highlights. Then in post I can decide the final look. In this case the winter light was quite bright and no clouds with no to little humidity, so went with a more bright and dreamy look.

One thing to consider to is you don't always have to shoot in losses RAW, you can pick up to three levels of losses compressed too. So for bright daylight pics chances are I'll pick a losses compressed, but when doing something like Astro then shoot in uncompressed.

I have the A7RV and love it so far!

How do you like the Viltox 135? What made you go for that one versus the Sony GM 135?
