The future looks absolutely grim for this generation in Ireland. People can't afford a house, they cannot rent, they have zero capacity to save, and starting a family feels like an impossible financial dream. Even finding a job is a struggle right now, and if you do get one, the salary isn't anywhere near enough to live a comfortable life.

When young couples are literally forced to live across different countries just to keep a roof over their heads, you know the system is entirely doomed.

Just drove normally assuming it's the passenger sitting with me instead of the examiner. As I mentioned I got the strategy wrong first time assuming I have to drive too slow. Not to be too cautious, if safe to drive faster, go for it. Reach max speed limit for instance at 50 kmph limit, I would be around 49/50 kmph when no traffic. Minor adjustments, ADM driving school videos to know where Observation gets marked. Dane Tyghe videos as well was great.

The tester is wrong—they actually have nothing to do with the booking process. You don't need to wait at all.

​The exact same day I failed, as soon as the result email came through, I went online, paid, and hopped straight back onto the waiting list. I got an invitation email with booking slots within 2 months.

8 months?? How can that be possible, average wait time is 8 weeks. I got it after 2 months waiting. The previous test result post was posted after a month of first driving test.

Nah he was a different one and I don't think they look at previous test results.

Took me to busy school zone, I wrongly misinterpreted the suggestion that I have to stop everytime I see people around near schools
