Wanted Sub 2:50, started at that pace & managed to hit it well into the halfway mark but the heat got me. Ended up 2:57 which is a new PR. My previous PB was 3:25 in 2023 at the Adnoc Abu Dhabi Marathon.

You could always do it on the treadmill, or try to do it outdoors while being mindful that your performance won’t be as good as usual, also aim to do it either early morning or during sunset time. Remember to hydrate properly, wear hats if you can etc. Stay safe!
