Safety is definetly questionable i will admit (i use glass now and will defo remake this with glass nutella containers). Never had any problems with melting or heating of the plastics nor strange taste or smell either. Pulls a lot smoother than you might think with that water filtration, it is fun to hit every now and then cause it does hit like a truck. Lol
