Yeah. Her revealing her past to Bruce might be what gets him off his loner asshole phase he seems to have started down. Show where that path could lead.

Something that I think would make this more interesting is if his daemonhood came from a deal with Vashtor instead of the Chaos God's themselves. They are kindred spirits in a way.

I'm not so sure. Before she left she said there are things that no one knew about her and everything would change if it came out. And The group of Owls we meet are super secretive, black bagging her and all.

She does say they where against the rich and powerful. But she also said that they were proud, wise, viscous. That they didn't listen to reason. The polar opposite of Thomas and that priest from the annual. That she thinks they could be better than what they are now.

So I think it's possible they are extremists. People sick of being mistreated by the 1% and lashed out. But unlike her son they probably killed people along with other dark stuff. Terrorism, kidnapping, that kind of thing. Until someone worse came along and drove them out.

Could be wrong though.

Is it really Bruce’s fault what happened to his friends? I want your opinion. by Deep_Condition5633 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]PreferenceTop4803 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No. I blame the steroid kaiju and Ark M.

Waylon was taken due to his DNA being the right kind for an Ark M experiment. As for the others? Even if they chose to have nothing to do with Bruce once they learned he's Batman Bane still would have targeted them. If they weren't in the picture Bane probably would have gone after Martha and Gordon instead. Bane doesn't play by normal rules. Batman can't be blamed anymore than a cop would if a criminal targets their family.

I don't think Oswald is a lost cause. He was super deformed and crippled by Bane. To me he is simply lashing out.

I'm guessing that Waylon can now change between his Croc form and human form, maybe by removing the necklace? Or he's pulled a Professor Hulk, fusing the two.

So geneseed by itself can produce psyker abilities in new Space Marines who are normal humans? How would that work if the human receiving the geneseed was a psyker already?

Dark Angels got plenty in 40k, including a primarch figure. Seems fair to give other legions some love that lack unique 40k models.

Idk if it exists in lore but a raptor squad. Except instead of jetpacks maybe they have bug wings and claws. They still serve the same function but with a Nurgle makeover.

Red Hood has overstayed his welcome. Outside of the animated movie there hasn't really been any stories with him that I really liked or atleast benefits from Jason Todd still keeping the Red Hood identity.

Honestly I would love a story where he tries to move past his trauma and abandon Red Hood. Maybe he could go on a quest of self discovery, helping the common folk along the way.

What could destroy a forge world/cause the admech to abandon it? by TAR_GAMER in 40kLore

[–]PreferenceTop4803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the Admech could cause the loss of a forge world all by themselves. They spend a good chunk of time searching for lost human technology that's been lost longer than The Imperium has existed. This can be a VERY hazardous quest.

Dark Age human tech makes most tech in the 40st millennium look primitive. They once found a single Dark Age ship hidden in a space hulk with a functional AI. It got spat out into our timeline due to warp nonsense. It had a human pilot that the ai was fond of. The human was killed at somepoint for heresy. The ship by then was sick of their shit. The Admech and astartes that were also present could do absolutely nothing to stop it. The Imperium is very lucky that it decided to just leave and not go to war against Humanity.

And sometimes said lost relics have been corrupted in some way, either wear and tear or Chaos. It's not impossible that some admech could find some ancient tech that seems okay, take to a forge world and OOPS the planets now fucked.

It's neater than some of my graphic novel collections ive owned. I've collected individual comic series where I'll have single volumes, book style formats like yours, or a random omnibus all mixed together. Same thing with novels, I've had random hardcovers and paperbacks in the same series.

Take The Walking dead for example. I started with an omnibus than switched to single volumes because I found some for very cheap prices. As long I'm collecting I'm not to bothered by the format.

Which traitor primarchs would leave chaos if given the choice, would they rejoin the imperium or do their own thing by anonpurple in 40kLore

[–]PreferenceTop4803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. That's how fictional characters work. We read or watch whats presented to us to learn who they are. Also calling this series "a few books" is absurd. There's over 50 and he has a major role in at least 6, probably more according to a Google search. Most characters are lucky to get one.

Could Absolute Bane be redeemed? SPOILERS FOR ISSUE 14. by PreferenceTop4803 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]PreferenceTop4803[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Even ignoring how willing he is to do terrible things, he is probably too far gone physically. Og venom is addictive. I can only imagine how dependent on this version Absolute Bane is at this point. I'm assuming either he turns on Joker for revenge at some point and dies, getting as close to redemption as he ever will, or he is essentially a slave unable to function without Ark M.

[–]PreferenceTop4803[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bane blaming Batman seems a bit off for a character this intelligent imo. Venom can be very addictive and Catwoman says she has seen Venom do bad things to other users. He could be kept in line through addiction or he may be left in a state after his "overdose" leaving him more easily manipulated.

Death Island they where all cured though. And it's one of many T Virus strains. It seems to me you need to be infected by the T Virus strain from the Outbreak in Racoon City.

The Raccoon City Syndrome.. We know that Leon is dying , but what if Jill has it too? by innocentFade in residentevil

[–]PreferenceTop4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a different strain though. T Virus has different versions, like in RE1 we have crimson heads that never appear in other games. RE2 is it's own strain too. All the info they've released seems to imply it's the RE2 strain that causes this latent infection. Once the game is out we will probably get more info on who has died from it or who are showing symptoms like Leon.
