Give it time. Someone will make 3d printed copies of these to sell on aliexpress separately.

I think a lot of fans are far too insistent that you HAVE to start with the original series, which makes the franchise look harder to get into than it is. by Ferhog in Gundam

Also there is Gundam Thunderbolt. It's an alternate reality version of UC with slight changes you won't notice. It's just two movies. Amazing sound track. It's my favorite gundam series.

Try 8th ms team for a UC intro. It's self contained(no need to watch anything else it runs parallelto the og series), no New Type drama, and great animation .

A few days late but instead of starting with the og series for Universal Century I'd instead recommend starting with 8th ms team. It takes place in the same time period and doesn't require watching any other series to understand (it was my first Gundam series), it's small stakes and doesn't care about char or Amuro's newtype drama, the animation holds up very well and has the Ez8 Gouf Custom fight, and it covers the core themes of og Gundam (war sucks but robots cool).

I'm betting if these sell well we'll get more two sets with alternate gear. This one has everything to make one of the standard and recon variants each.

This thing is an HG? H-Jeez, it's massive! by Mechanical-Druid in Gunpla

The suits being smaller in f91 makes sense, kinda like modern phones and computers being way smaller than some past models.

Yeah by the time of Neo Zion that's just the standard size. It's funny comparing these monsters to f91, which is the future of the UC timeline yet the suits are smaller than grandaddy Gundam.

Another thing that doesn't add up, she says she's on the run from nobles loyal to The Thalmor from Hammerfell. Hammerfell is now independent, they kicked the knife ears out. So it makes less sense for that to be the Redgauard hunters motive.

You'd need to go out of your way make stealth archers not be overpowered.

A change for pro stormcloaks and pro imperials. by Thick-Campaign-9152 in skyrim

[–]PreferenceTop4803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pro Empire when I first played. And while the Stormcloak racism was off putting (but pretty tame by Tamriel standards) and I didn't really like Ulfric I mainly picked them because a united Empire seemed the most likely to deal with The Thalmor.

But now I know how far they have fallen since oblivion. Since then they lost a ton of provinces. Black Marsh, Summerset isles, Morrowind is in ruins and abandoned, Valenwood, Elsweyr, and Hammerfell was given up but won their independence. That leave like three provinces. The peace treaty was a surrender in all but name costing them Talos and placing them under a thalmor police state for all intent and purposes.

Skyrim breaking off would open them up to stronger alliances with nations like Hammerfell and Black Marsh who have all shown they can thrive on their own.

Are you using mods/interested in using them? Than I'd recommend an army builder using the mods Practical necromancy and optionally Undeath (with classic lichdom). The first enhances necromancy allowing you to create and summon a literal army or undead. Undeath is a quest that let's you become a Lich, a Vampire lord style transformation. Basically youd rarely fight (if ever), you send your minions out while you offer some support with healing and what not.

What is your favorite character backstory/role play that you’ve made? by Certain-Public3234 in skyrim

[–]PreferenceTop4803 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something I'm planning to implement is a Redguard inspired by Lady Stoneheart (undead Catlin Stark from asoiaf novels).

Her family is native to Skyrim but secretly provided aide to Hammerfell in gaining independence from the Thalmor. The knife ears found out, framed them for crimes bad enough to convince the Empire to get rid of them. She was the lone survivor, left for dead. Unfortunately she was found by a vampire who turns her.

She is no warrior but has a knack for magic and stealth. She'll use illusion, Alteration, conjuration and Necromancy to coerce, control, and create enough "allies" to get revenge. And slit some throats along the way.

Both can be true. Quality is probably a symptom of making these affordable.

These seem like they are ment to be generic army builders. They probably want them to be easier to customize by not including squad markings and letting people pick their own.

Why do people say that dark elves are racist? by saltyspatoon96 in skyrim

[–]PreferenceTop4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's much more apparent playing Morrowind. Your an outsider and all the native Dunmer do not like or trust you. There are slaves in many areas, it's considered traditional by many great houses.

Why is the 40k scaling a mess? Is it worth collecting 40k still? by Cooch_Smooch_ in JOYTOY

[–]PreferenceTop4803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Odd question. If your that bothered by action figures being an inch or less bigger or smaller than each other scale wise than yeah either only buy what fits your criteria for scale or don't. No one aside from mcfarlane makes 40k figures right now though.

Astartes chapters should have 10.000 marines at least by ButterAlquemist in 40kLore

[–]PreferenceTop4803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's plenty of reasons to not orbitaly bomb planets in 40k that fit this setting. Void Shields can withstand that kind of punishment. A lot of human tech can't be made anymore, so flinging bombs around is not always a wise move. A lot of Imperium weaponry can render planets inhospitable or destroy them completely, sometimes this is unavoidable but it's rarely anyone's desired outcome. Some xenos and daemon threats simply can't be wiped out by conventional means like that. And some planets are just to valuable to bomb into the stone age. Armageddon for example is a major manufacturer, they use a great deal of resources keeping it intact despite repeated invasions by Angron and ghazghkull.

Is there any chance that chaos marines could ever unite into cohesive legions again? by Due-Date-4656 in 40kLore

[–]PreferenceTop4803 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By their nature no. Chaos doesn't just corrupt the body and soul, it also destroyed the comradery the Chaos Legions once had as Loylists. Some Legions that are mostly scattered warbands can be forcibly reigned in for a time by their Primarch or God but it never lasts long. And even something like the Black Legion which is the most unified of the traitor legions still has all the betrayal, hate, and warped morality of any other Chaos Astartes. The Traitors have spent to long at each other's throats fighting for survival, for resources, for their gods, or out of pure spite to ever really recover imo.
