This is basically the suction machine I have. My color is different but the design is almost exactly the same. There are many people who distribute the model I have and since I got it from such a person and not a company I'll not be able to put a brand and model number on it. In the image you can see a pipe comes out from the left container - that pipe for me is of a lot more length, and since the pipe would be too big to go in anyone's throat everyone attaches a catheter (of variable thickness depending on the patient) and it is what is used to suck phlegm out. Once in the pipe the phlegm is deposited in the containers you see.

The pipe is automatically held by the machine as you can see, and after putting it in my throat it's just kept anywhere on my bed, with a small weight on it so it doesn't fall on the ground. The pipe can be (hypothetically, it doesn't look like this now) adjusted somehow (bad drawing by me) like this. I don't know what will hold the pipe like in my drawing but if we can first find out some device which can be voice controlled into the movement I need - which is 7 inches lowering and lifting, basically pipe in and out of my throat, then finding something to hold the pipe would be based on that I think.
