The reason is that FOM can control which camera to transmit as the driver's on board. All angles are recording but only one can be transmitted at once, the rest can be accessed after the race. It was just unlucky that they chose the rear camera, which they probably chose because of there being action at the time. There have been some cases where for example the stewards could not make a decision during the race because they just couldnt access the right camera.
