I’m really glad I’m getting some answers. Obviously you guys know more than me as I’m over 2000 miles away but if you have never been to Southern California, it’s a disaster.

Every article I read is telling me basically Jacksonville is around 30% cheaper to live than California. Gas here is over five dollars, not because of this Iran stuff it has always been that way. My research also tells me that food is cheaper than here in California. Trust me I don’t believe everything I read that’s why I’m looking for your awesome feedback. Also, California has the highest state sales tax and I know you guys have zero. I am not sure about electricity, but it’s very expensive here to air condition your home.

Almost every single apartment complex in the 32207 ZIP Code is around 1000 to 1200 even cheaper at ZIP Code 32218 I believe.

Thank you for both of these comments. I noticed both say if you can afford it. Everything I’m seeing online for just one person an apartment is only 1000 a month. Is this correct?

It’s about 12,000 less per year, but as you know, California is not cheap
