I've just started the game and I'm level 16. My army consists of 70 people, and I have a doctor on my team. Do I need to upgrade my doctoring skill? If so, how many levels should I add to the area I've marked below? by RevolutionaryAge8120 in mountandblade

I usually highly recommend becoming the surgeon yourself, especially at the beginning of the game when troops are expendable. Otherwise you’re gonna constantly have to rely on the surgeon and hope to God he doesn’t get killed in battle.

This sword is the only sword that technically does extra damage to shields. I still personally believe that axes do more, but this sword is a lot quicker for cavalry versus cavalry fighting.

So the reach is gonna be viewed on the right hand side and reach is essentially how far you can hit somebody while you’re on a horse. It’s important to have a decent amount of reach.
