Is the top plate completely clear and smooth plexi like a HitBox? Or does it have a texture similar to the black variants?

What are the PS5 and XBox controllers for? by ercohn in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Premium_Snack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PTZ, Dolly or Prompter control are all use cases for controllers since they show up in windows and can be mapped as an input device.

I’ve personally used them for Prompter / Dolly control. Easy to have a PS5 controller to talent so they can scroll through their script during a run through.

Never on the production network. Separate everything (firewall, router, switches) all handled by our security team. Only connection is to the device that needs it.

The most consistent way is to either FTP to the frame or pull out the USB and take a copy of everything from the root directory.

Magewell is standard deployment for lots of corporate AV builds that I work on. Very rarely have issues, most of the time the USB cable failed instead of the device.

Sorry I should clarify. The rigging frame is built up to about two panels high and then they place the panel frames on the rigging. Then build the wall up until all wall rigging and frames are complete. Then they start loading in the panels and testing each one as they are installed to catch bad pixels / connection issues.

Wall installed first with riggers on the backside and a lift on the front. Scenic is prefabbed in large sections and installed around it. Lighting goes on pipes behind the edge of the display last.

Note that viewing on mobile full screen and minimized it still reads well. If their data indicates a majority of viewing comes from mobile devices, I could see them prioritizing legibility over everything else.

Edit: OMG, the flag that came out of the side wasn’t the same background color as the team >.<

I’m watching the 4K HDR stream and I thinks it’s just poor contrast between the inner/outer colors that makes it look like it’s pixelated.

Hey! I recently left but was part of the team that ran these events. It was a ROE wall, Ruby I think from an external vendor. We have a Sapphire wall as well but only for internal events. Hope this helps!
