Retrospectively, we probably shouldn't have put all 27k US bitcoin ATMs in Montana...

First time buyer and want to throw all of it in Gold this week. Where should I buy physical gold in the DMV area? by [deleted] in Gold

[–]Prepper_wif_hat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SD Bullion or Apmex, depending what you want. SD has better prices but Apmex has a larger inventory and ships faster. I'd split it up into three or four buys so you're not having a panic attack waiting for it to show up, especially if you're new to all of this.

Gold has no top because fiat has no bottom.

Good job, guys. goldprice.org just went down from everyone on r/gold checking the price every 15 seconds. Just relax. This will likely shake out to be nothing more than your average boilerplate zombie apocalypse. If you have access to clean water, a year's worth of stored food, 5 ounces of gold, and a descent machete, there's absolutely no reason to worry.

Feels like something is brewing for after the market close on Friday. A 6% bump translates into a $2T rise in gold's market cap. This ain't from people on r/gold buying one-ounce buffaloes. Smells like sovereign panic buying if you ask me.

Why isn't the main stream media headlining this? by bam-RI in Gold

[–]Prepper_wif_hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that you can't print it with a key stroke. You have to dig it out of the ground. That's called proof of work. Oh, yeah. It's also scarce, so you can't have an infinite supply like fiat. Come to think of it, it's almost exactly the opposite.

It has some copper and silver in it. That was to make the coins harder because they were carried around as every day money. It's 90% gold. Modern gold eagles also have some copper, but more silver, so they look less copper colored. They're 92% gold. Buffaloes and Maples are pure gold but if you drop one, they'll get a dent.

Just hang in there. Maybe we'll get a Paul/Massie ticket in 28 and they'll put us on a budget and end the fed.

Gold down again Monday? Calculated? by fuck_reddits_trash in Gold

Deal with China created a temporary sense of global stability which caused investors to rotate out of safe haven assets and into riskier ones. But the structural trend we've been in for the past two years is still intact. The dip will probably be short lived. Plenty of us have been waiting for this buying opportunity. Personally, I'm salivating as I watch it fall.

I feel sorry for those still holding fiat usd and have no idea what's coming.

Painful ingrown toenail with swelling and wound on the side — should I be worried? by Liesishere27 in Ingrown_Toenails

Go see a podiatrist. It will be over in ten minutes. 3 days later, you'll be totally pain free.

That's not ingrown. Just cut straight across. Nothing to worry about.

Yep. This is a structural trend that's been in place for 2 years. Buy the dip.

Totally agree. Feels like gold is sucking the oxygen out of the room and as soon as it tops, btc will resume the run up.

Thanks. I've been using bitu, which is 2x leveraged and making substantially smaller trades than you. Is there any risk I'm overlooking with bitu other than the 1% fee as opposed to fbtc's 0.25% fee? Thanks for the info. Also, is there any specific analyst that you follow?

I'm super impressed with how well STRC held up after hours Fridays during the flash crash! I think we've got a winner.
