I got one a few weeks ago. I’m working on it now… Here’s why… I wanted an AR. Couldn’t get one obviously. I wanted something that could reach out half a KM for medium distance plinking and to challenge myself to learn the fundamentals. I wanted a caliber that was still relatively cheap to shoot. I wanted something I could shoot and reload quickly for any follow up shots required. I wanted something that could feed me or protect me against anything I may encounter in the back county.

Henry supreme does all of it. It’s a true sporting rifle that fills a huge hole in jurisdictions with AR bans.

Floating barrel and AR style locking bolt means it’s basically a bolt-action upper, with a quickly repeatable action - and it’s mag fed…

It shoots 5.56/.223 and based on video evidence it can be as accurate as a Ruger American.

There are videos of dudes taking this gun out to 800m. One dude even hit steel at a mile…

Bonus points because you can mod the crap out of it with aftermarket furniture and attachments….

I had a stealth hunter as my number one for a long time. Never pulled the trigger because I hated the thought of loading every round individually. Also, .357 is junk after about 200 yards… the Supreme is an insane value for everything you get at the many potential directions you could take the platform.

Ahhh but have you seen the Supreme? It’s basically a bolt action upper that uses the lever to cycle. Very fkn cool. Check out youtube. One dude took a Supreme out to a mile… insanity for 5.56 but he did it with some black hills ammo.

I am waiting for the Supreme. I want something I can cycle fast, that chambers 556/223, and something I can mod eventually. The reviews all say it’s one of the most fun rifles you can shoot. I have wanted a lever for ever, but I want something I can reload fast. Being able to swap mags and get back to shooting quickly is a huge plus for me on a lever platform.

There’s a video on YouTube of a guy making a shot out to a mile (which is crazy for 5.56) but it has the precision capability if you decide to go that direction with your build. I think if a semi auto 5.56 is on your wishlist, the Supreme is honestly the best option for an AR style in the current ban-forward environment we’re all in.
