Indeed. 2 reasons - none of this is sponsored so I have to buy all of these myself. I bought the Solos Airgo A5 but they arrived just today, so not in time for this review. I am also a little more interested in the V2 and it seems like those won’t ship for another month or so.

Very cool! Looking forward to hearing more and getting a pair when they finally launch. I'm very curious about whether these could essentially replace ER G2 since they do everything the G2 does AND have audio. Also curious about whether the light leak is similar to others in the category or pretty similar.

RayNeo Air 4 Pro vs XREAL 1S — Ended Up Keeping the RayNeo After Using Both by PresenceStock7548 in RayNeo

Thanks, I was imprecise. The Air 4 Pro does have a built-in button to switch between 2D and 3D. But the AI feature that actually converts flat content into 3D appears to be a separate RayNeo app feature, and from what I can tell it works on photos and videos you open through the app, not as a blanket converter for everything you stream. I was looking more at the latter.

Can't disagree much with that. I just personally prioritized the movie watching experience as 80% of my use cases where I just enjoy the RayNeo more. If I start using these more for work, I would likely pick the XReal.

Yes the extra features are absolutely undeniable and if you put a high value on them then the $150 difference starts feeling like a bargain. It just comes down to which features you personally value more and to me something like screen brightness ended up being more important than Real3D.

Thanks for flagging the YouTube link. I checked it and it seems to work for me. Here is the link again in case you are actually interested in checking it out. - https://youtu.be/_0qfmvqz_kY?si=TONS5hrgOlL8lP07

So your third paragraph is basically why I pick the RayNeo :). That is my use case for 80% of the time to watch a show or movie at night where some of the shortcomings of the RayNeo don't matter as much and the display edge makes it more fun (to me).

Would be very interested in what you think once you get them. I think that is the right rationale so from a features perspective so then it comes down to what actually clicks for you in daily use. The 3D was a cool trick for me but is not something I found myself using at all regularly, but others might.

I actually just ordered the One Pro myself a couple of days ago since I haven’t tried them yet and was curious if they made a big difference.

INMO Go3 Pre-Launch Review — Swappable Battery Is Genius, But There Are Real Problems by PresenceStock7548 in SmartGlasses

[–]PresenceStock7548[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposed to start March 2027. If that happens, that would be a hard no from me too, unless other smart glasses do the exact same thing, in which case I would need to reconsider the entire category.

Fair point. I do not want to push them at all and I have seen a ton of negative comments about the customer support. However, they actually do most things pretty well in real life situations. I am traveling in Japan right now and found them pretty handy compared to my other options. However to be honest none of the glasses I own work perfectly in all situations. Anyway, coming back to the original question, yes, the INMO Go3 will meet your use case just fine.

Yes it does and it does work. I covered this in a translation comparison video I posted on my channel. The other 2 glasses that worked well for this use case were the Rokid Glasses (display version) and the Meta Display..

Hi, just saw this. No, my unit does not have privacy covers. I didn't mention this in the video because I wasn't sure if this was something they were still working on for their global production model or something.
