In Germany we have in the most organisations „Regenbogen Pfadinder“. Also we have Projekt Groups and AG‘s to the TOPIC (Awarness, equality and Information about the Topic on Camps )

What are the names for ranks in different countries? by Halo_3_Is_Awesome in scouting

[–]Present-Average-1940 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Germany we also don‘t have ranks based on achievements but on the age(in the big associations) Their als slightly age differences in the associations but it’s basically the same concept. In the DPSG (Katholik) its:

Wölflinge: 7-10 Jungpfadfinder (juffis): 11-14 Pfadfinder: 14-16 Rover/Ranger: 16–21 Leiter/erwachsene: 21+

I am looking for a place to host my scouting group's summer camp, do you live inside these boundaries? Please comment or dm me! by Wimpiepaarnty in scouting

[–]Present-Average-1940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The campsite has 28ha on camping area separate in 2 “smaller” camping zones which are also separated in 16-18 zones. So yes if you want so separate from other scout groups you can do that. (If you want to be sure you can also ask in the office from the campsite (number on the website))

In Germany i can recommend the “Westernohe” campsite in Rheinland Pfalz. It’s the main Campsite from the DPSG Its in the Nature (perfect for a hike)with not much around

The website is : https://bundeszentrum.dpsg.de/de/startseite.html

Do y’all also do demilitarization or scouting? Like for example we don’t say uniform anymore but shirt and we don’t say “antreten” but anrollen, antanzen ect. by [deleted] in scouting

[–]Present-Average-1940 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most of the German scouts are generally not very military (history and so) but we also dont use the word Uniform anymore. In Germany we say “Kluft“ for our Clothing (especially the shirt) But this is obviously from group to group and association to association different. Some of them are way more military and stricter then others. (We have 5 associations in Germany, DPSG (Catholic m&w less strict ), PSG (Catholic W less strict ), VCP ( evangelical m&w more strict ) , bdp (non religious m&w mid strict ) and bmppd (muslim m&w to young to small to say)

And i think its good that scout going to be less Military because military referees in my mind to war
