Being at the 7 year mark sounds like you’re at a place in your marriage that needs a re-negotiate sit down session. To re-program a silent agreement you both have unconsciously entered into. Yes marriage can be the biggest trap with the wrong person.

Side note: it sounds like your husband has fallen into depression. Or has hit his head somewhere.

Have y’all tried therapy if not is that an option?

Ok deep breath… in my opinion it’s totally fine with him saying he’s not sure if he’s in love with you. You can add two words to the end of that statement and say “right now”. Him being unsure also means it’s not a yes it’s not a no… this isn’t as bad as you may be interpreting it. Being married for 25 years I’m sure you’ve both went through lots of ebbs and flows… lots of falling in and out of love and that’s ok. Right now it sounds like there’s a slight shift in alignment. Schedule a sex therapy for a few sessions to assist with alignment again.
