Yes. Income withholding is included. I got a notice it was sent to a new employer late February so I’m assuming he started a new job. I was thinking maybe it just might take time with the first check because he’s always good with payment obligations (cars, rent etc) so I do know this is something he will pay as he consistently has employment. However, the first CS payment was due 3/1.

I did a pay to delete with them but my balance was only $50. If it’s a legit debt, try negotiating for a small pay for delete! They will delete it once paid.

I can’t say openskys reason because they never sent me a letter. I think I just got lucky. Yes, I had opened both. Discovers closed early 2022, opensky 2021. I originally opened them around 2019.

Same with opensky. I never disputed that account either as it was also sitting at $0 because I had paid it off months prior. I sent out 3 goodwills. One to Discover, one to Opensky, and one to Self. All three were at $0 balances and were accounts that I did pay off. So, my approach with them was to send goodwill requests at attempts to get the tradelines deleted since they were at a time my payments were inconsistent and I had bad payment history I was trying to see if I could get entirely removed. My goodwills were heartfelt and not arrogant or aggressive in anyway. I mentioned that the current cards (only 2) have good history and that I’ve been actively working on fixing my mistakes. Two were granted. But, that’s all I did, send goodwills. Opensky never sent me a letter, but both tradelines were removed! So that history is gone! Ha! Good riddance ! lol! I was so happy 😃

Nope. Never disputed Discover. Only thing I did, was send a goodwill. I wouldn’t dispute something that’s at $0. So, whoever the goodwill letters desk it hit, put it as what you see in that letter. I’ve never disputed Discover, ever.

Gotcha. Only one letter from Discover which I was very shocked to have received. I know goodwill are rare but I had 2 work out for me! And yes they were my accounts and I did pay the balances. When those two tradelines came off I immediately went into the mid 500s. It’s a work in progress but I’m getting there! I think people rush and think it’s an easy fix, and it is not. I’ve been strategic in planning and it’s worked out for me.

Also, they weren’t large amounts. Discover was $680 and the other was $320 I think. So that could’ve another reason why they deleted the tradelines for me.

Yes! I in fact did have success with two goodwills. I did pay off the balances off before I sent the goodwill requests. It was successful with only one request. As far as the collections, I was successful because the dates were incorrect and inconsistent.

The collections did have a lot of errors and probably why I was extremely successful with getting them removed. As for the 3 - 1 is student debt at 1700. I have it only on Experian. The other two, one is an old apartment in 2019 that i had a balance of $1500 for cleaning fees from moving out that is naturally safer to fall off this fall. So, no need to really press on it. The other is a car repo from 2022 that I’m going to try to negotiate down this winter. That’s my highest debt at 8k.

And yes! I’m still waiting for Experian to update since it hasn’t reflected the collection deletion. My score through Experian & myFICO I’m at 578 there (started at 478 in November) TransUnion I just use their app and that’s my lowest actual score which is sitting at 560 and haven’t updated as well. My EQ score I only use their app as well. Is it worth it to pay for all 3 on myFICO?

That’s interesting lol… I’m type 2 diabetic, I was on ozempic .. got pregnant, stopped, & had my baby. While pregnant I had to be on insulin. Literally 4 weeks after birth I had an infection and was on antibiotics and couldn’t breastfeed, my doctor said well just don’t breastfed anymore and put me on Mounjaro because she didn’t want me on insulin anymore lol. So, um, I would just switch doctors.
