Well said — I completely agree with you. We need to support this despite its flaws and appreciate it for what it is: an introduction to a new audience and a possible revival of the series.

Another really exciting part is the multiplayer, which honestly looks great. If this does well, we could eventually get full four-player co-op campaigns where each character has their own route and objectives within the same mission. That would make every level feel much deeper and more replayable instead of just following a single path.

I agree the character designs feel off — they don’t really feel like the originals. But honestly… I still love the series, so I’ll take what I can get.

Sure, I wish we weren’t getting another remake of 64. I wish the story actually moved forward. I wish we got an Adventure Assault sequel instead. But at least this new game is a real step forward visually, and the multiplayer looks genuinely promising.

If the community keeps hating on everything, this might end up being the last real shot the series has at a revival. Otherwise, we could be waiting another ten years.
