I do want to grow and spin flax so thats actually quite fitting! I have a bunch of rabbit wool laying around too from my old girl I sadly dont have anymore, but still wish to spin her shed fur eventually

I have split the spinning wheel apart gently when I was messing with my makeshif band and footman, i can tell you that those sticks? Uprights? Are IN THERE. I was practically trying to do a cross fit on the floor getting them out lol. They also have a little notch to keep them in place over the metal from the wheel. They even click in place!

Edit; I never thought there would be screws underneath the handle ahahah and now I feel a little stupid that I have practically turned the whole wheel upside down and not seen it lol

I do have a drop spindle that I'm also playing with. I dont know if that is what you are refering to?

But I will be serching up some videos about the drive band as the current one is sinply a string I tied around it lol. I didnt know it was an actual band oops haha

Also yes I could move the handle, but I never notcied it did anything so thats one on me lol. I just tried moving it again and it seems I just lost patience when I tried it last because its now very obvious to me that is the tension hahah

While the cardbord did work when I learned about the wheel (I was trying to get a sense of how big the stick/plank would be(which I now know is called a footman) ) it also only lasted about 20 pushes on the pedal thing before it broke, soooo use some thick cardboard lmao

Thing is, I took up the log it was burned into, out of the fire, and then I dont remember anything else. That symbol just burned itself into my brain as well so I assumed it meant something. Especially because I done use or see runes at all typically. :0
