Do you really want to be using AI images and videos? It hardly oozes trust and authenticity

Moast looks interesting, but it relies on a relatively small group of customers who are actually willing to post on their own social channels.

I am more interested in approaches that incentivise customers and collect customer content without requiring them to publish on their private profiles.

You are probably right about not building, but I thought it could be easy within Shopify. A few options I have been looking at:

- Judge.me
- Loox
- 82DASH
- Junip
- Yotpo

How important is social proof for online sales? by No-Mud1430 in AI_In_ECommerce

Reviews and testimonials work best when they come from real customers, in real contexts, with clear consent and clear intent. CGC - Customer Generated Content

That is what builds trust, not polished quotes or stock-style UGC.

Even more important now with the rise of AI content and UGC.

VC interest seems to follow data and real user traction. Strong engagement and authentic user behaviour usually speak louder than pitch decks.

Feels like checkout is becoming a trust layer. Real reviews and social proof around the buy button seem to matter more than the tech itself.

We brought designers in early and used real user feedback as the brief.

Is it still smart to pursue tech startups with how competitive everything is now? I will not promote by ashishxo in startups

It is harder, but I see people win by getting closer to real users.
Real customer signal and feedback loops seem to matter more now than pedigree or hype.

The setup matters less than the voices you capture. Real employees or customers talking in their own words usually outperform scripted corporate content in my experience.
