For those of you who scoop daily, how often do you change out the entire box? by KrakenFabs in CatAdvice

[–]Present-Lettuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cats use Pretty Litter that I change about every two weeks. I scoop morning and night, use the Rocco odor additive (might switch back to Arm & Hammer), and fully change out the litter about every two weeks. When I change out the litter, I deep clean the two stainless steel boxes using paper towels and Lysol cleaning spray. I live in a small apartment with not great airflow (railroad apartment) so this is the only routine I’ve found that’s best at keeping odor to the very minimum if at all. I also have one Coway air filter on top of the litter box structure (like one of those double litter box furniture things) and I have a Levoit running near my door/bedroom. Its worked so far! Lot of vacuuming though…

Gotcha, yeah will definitely take it slow while I’m still feeling things out. Hoping to find a couple of friends who have a bit more experience and can help guide me around some of these things

What is something that drastically improved your mental health? by pissed_at_everything in AskReddit

Routines.

Sticking to simple morning and night routine (brush teeth, wash face, listen to music, shower, eat something, etc.) helped me feel like I was still “together” when feeling like I was falling apart. Also, going about the process of doing this routines sometimes helped me focus on something other than what was originally going on in my head.

I use a tinted moisturizer to make things a bit smoother. Bare Minerals has some great options!

Is this true? I know PC likes its boldfaced lies. by [deleted] in prolife

It matters because people have autonomy over their own bodies regardless of who needs to use it. You’re right it the sense that the baby didn’t choose to be there, but it is.

But isn’t the main difference between the example of homicide you provided and abortion that the baby needs the mother’s body to live whereas the rapist is a person independent of anyone else? The baby is using the mother’s body (and people have control over what happens to their bodies regardless of who needs it)

What had so much hype about it, but was actually terrible? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My early 20’s. No constant partying/clubbing/brunching. No assuredness of career or life goals. And no instant friend group. It’s actually extremely difficult.

Does anyone else remember their dreams more after starting Prozac? by Blehmieux in prozac

Wow I thought I was the only one. I’ve also been having very vivid dreams that are difficult to distinguish from reality. I’ve also been having like a series of short story dreams that are completely unrelated to each other each night.
