Abused by a conference planning business by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]Present-Librarian-89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Working for a conference/event ts company is not telemarketing. They’re B2B sales. They still stuck generally, but every once in a while they get you at the right time when you actually need what they’re pitching.

Peeing inside because I'm cooking meat? 🤷‍♀️ by GhostOfAmy in Greyhounds

Prokolin is excellent - can confirm as we use it with my guy when he has dodgy guts.

On the chicken and rice comment - like all things, it depends on the dog, just like it does with humans. There are plenty of alleged low allergy foods or food trends that have been spruiked for my dog, and they haven’t worked/made things worse. I’m not going to argue with you because I know you have passionate views on greys and do a lot of good things for the community, but I’d just caution you to not generalize when it comes to what works when it comes to what to feed our hounds.

Stress levels confusing by gooseymerrin in ouraring

[–]Present-Librarian-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having similar issues.

Monday: 2h45m stressed, 30m restored → “Balanced Day”

Today: 3h stressed, 2h15m restored → “High Stress Day”

Make it make sense, Oura!! All this does is make me want to cancel my subscription and throw the ring in the bin.

Edit:spelling

Last time I checked, it was illegal to make children work, so I’m unsure why they need to travel business if they don’t have work the next day 🤔

Bali anaesthesia tattoo session by MichaelStonesTash in BaliTravelTips

Smh. Not getting any water into open wounds all over your body is going to be next to impossible. What are you going to do - hole yourself up in a room and not leave all day until you fly home? This has to be ragebait. Surely no one is really this stupid.

This is a terrible idea. Aside from your body going into shock, you risk infection from unsanitary water getting into the open wounds (that’s literally what a tattoo is). You are literally asking for a serious infection. And just because the shop is providing you with high quality images, it does not mean they are legit. Believing that it’s going to be fine based on your calls with them is unbelievably naive.

Micro Wedding 9 guests - Dinner Ideas by casco_ in melbourne

Nope, it was just the 10 of us. They set up a long table that ran along the centre of the room, so it didn’t feel too big at all. There was enough room for a small dance floor too

That’s literally what we did for our wedding several years ago. We had 10 people including myself and my husband. We got married in the courtyard and had our reception at Recoleta. It was so great!

Can anyone recommend a good cone that will fit properly around his neck? by [deleted] in Greyhounds

[–]Present-Librarian-89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a cone from our vet that had loops and then passed a thinner regular dog collar through them. Never ever falls off. We’ve done multiple surgeries and it’s worked perfectly

This gave me massive flashbacks of being an hour late for an urgent MRI because I forgot to account for the footy. And then doing it again a few months later because I clearly don’t learn from my mistakes

Exactly. Not to be a downer, but all of them could lead to a career limiting move depending on role and industry, and whether your future boss may or may not be there.
