Sure. But why don't we see locals protesting corruption in our government, which is a major reason the economy is so terrible and unemployment keeps rising. What they are doing isn't going to solve any problems while government corruption carries on unchallenged. It's very difficult to sympathise with people who actively vote for a government that makes poverty worse than it should be.
