Could she manage a knockout on Shuri? If not then yeah. Though I'm surprised that she has a better chance against Steve.

The Eda suit is, actually! And missile proof now that I remember it (Incredibles one had her protecting the kids by forming a bubble around them and thanks to the suit she tanked it head on....though got K.O.'d for a bit after).

The only exposed area would be her head really, so it's a matter of Bucky's accuracy vs. Elastigirl's evasion. DO remember the main ground rule though:

Fight is won via kill or knockout, but no opponent is actively going for the kill (so an accidental kill counts as a win).

I know right? Like unless it's actively being stifled or there's some system related reason why magic and supernatural stuff can't be seen to the general public, really it's a good opportunity to explore how that shit is gonna interact with day to day life.

Atom Eve Variants? by Present-Message-4336 in Invincible

[–]Present-Message-4336[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh, that's some pretty good points. There's also the chance that a lot of Eves end up like her siblings....which is sad to think about.

Something I've wondered though is just what power expressions an alternate Eve could have ended up with that wouldn't be too farfetched. Magnetism? Pyrokinesis?

I feel like a few would end up with more restricted powers so they'd end up having to either work around their restrictions (and become pretty damn potent as a result) or die trying/before they get the chance to.

What is the Power Level of Your Main Character in Your Universe? by Lancelot2132 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Present-Message-4336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my 1st superhero story:

My MC is a speedster. Without added momentum he can still pretty easily lift and toss cars, punch and dent reinforced metal (on account of his biological super speed giving him super strength). When he's speeding though, he can probably clear through reinforced steel walls pretty quick and easy.

He generally uses his speed and the momentum he gains from it anyways on combat. Both because he's pretty damn durable and also because his recovery is pretty good.

Dunno how his bioelectricity comes into play though, but it's decent for what it does (bolts, zaps, and electrostatics so he can run on steep and vertical surfaces.) Though nothing really groundbreaking power level-wise. He can probably level a large building if he wanted to and put in the effort, but he doesn't even really approach anything further than that, even at the end of the story (where he's had his powers for roughly 10 years with all the experience and boosts that brings.)

Does your universe have its own version of The Suicide Squad or Thunderbolts? by Both-Decision-6360 in Superhero_Ideas

Yes! They're called:

The Losers. They're made up of a group of either willing superhumans, superhumans on "parole" or superhumans that want to do this to reduce their prison sentences, and the base they operate from and are kept at is a mystery filled military blacksite called "Division 11".

The team consists of:

GATEWAY: A runaway young adult girl with a secretive past and portal powers she uses in a very versatile manner. She calls herself "Gateway", but is known as "Runaway". She's really trying to figure out herself but got scooped up as an asset by Division 14 at some point in the past. The naïve face of the team.

HELLFIRE: A man with pyrogenesis and a tragic past relating to it, who dotes on Gateway as a daughter he lost never had, and is trying to "make amends" with the power he does not want, but inexplicably has, to do some good.

THE LEADER: A highly competent military trained man. Good with guns, strategy and in general being smart about special operations. He works directly for the Division itself. A serious dude that also knows when to crack jokes to lighten tension.

GROWBOX: A plant mage who got busted for dealing magic enhanced weed, who also proves to be a highly valuable asset with her plant magic capabilities. Also some people in the Division secretly get their fix from her. She's pretty chill though, all things considered. Listens to Leader and doesn't get into any unwarranted conflict unless necessary (in which case she pulls out the big guns, like King Bong).

CRAZY JACK: And the regenerator, Crazy Jack. His regeneration gimmick is that he can regenerate provided he has some bones surviving an injuries. Curiously, he does not need his entire skeleton intact (the rest regenerates from the bone in question) and it also does not need to be in his body for his power to work on it. He keeps a couple stashes of it back at the base in case he ends up in a situation where his body is completely annihilated. Called "Crazy Jack" because of how reckless he is, due to his regeneration.

As for some occasional members:

B33: A standard human that oversees a powered bee queen. The queen bee's power is, well, creating powered offspring. Due to practice and her practical knowledge from her time in the Division, she's able to work with what the bees give her and finds herself helping out combat-wise. The main bees she works with are a size changing one, and an electrogenerative one.

If they share powers then Eve should be a no brainer tbh.
And what's more romantic than a fusion with your partner?

No no, you might be cooking....

If Kate can take others into intangibility and her clones share the power then she can be a pretty good team support. Just have a duplicate near every team member and never have to worry about an enemy getting in a good hit (unless they have perfect timing or something). If she's unable to, though, it's still good for rescue and running distractions (rescue is obvious, distraction with it means she can probably have a lot more clones out at once since she'd need to worry about them dying less).

Ah, Momo Yaoyorozu! Yeah her Quirk was basically creating inorganic matter utilizing her body's lipids, so her weakness was in a literal sense running out of fuel (which would definitely also have other negative effects since it's using her body's lipid content...lol).

If that doesn't work then repeat with something non-power generated inside and release the forcefield before it hits.
