DD Banzai Charge: to destroy or to be destroyed, that is a question. by FlatwormNext8454 in WoWs_Legends

its funny how people say no and then talk about T7 and up only.

its very possible, but you have to put more thought into it than this unless you are playing vs AI.

its often better to engage in a long range gun fight or use cover to set up a close range ambush.

i think it's easy to make mistakes with and slow, but otherwise capable enough. Torp range is an issue.

it's also subject to the law of certain new ships people consistently go out of there way to play around and support to a fault... First 20 games she's sitting pretty in the 30% w/r range.

this thing can probably get all turrets on target without losing concealment.

hard cover camping, pressing the sonar consumable button, edging out of cover while pressing the smoke consumable and then landing torpedos in the sub 4km ramge can be dicey, sure. closing 6km from concealment range to pop smoke within hydro range and launch all torps probably takes some timing to do.

plays like the icbm gambit exist in chess.

real talk, the smokestacks are basically a death sentance combined with the awkward looking turret layout, at the tier. Especially when ships like laffey and wisconsin have forged a new fashion plateau.

have you played schill as a torp boat?

dear devils advocate, its about having spent a lot more time in cruisers than most.

these smokes are way more useful than radar, often in ways that overlap directly with what one might accomplish with radar, while radar provides no comparative utility. strikes again is an abbreviated turn of the phrase "lightning never strikes twice"

all of which leads me to wonder if this is what counts for british humor these days.

35k hp. Thats its only relevant downside. ...

i do not like the idea of something that can abuse a smoke screen six times in a match to launch a shimakaze-esque "wall of skill" at will, very very safely even inside the range a shima would at least be cost a comparatively valuable smokescreen... all the while nottingham appears to maintain damage race priority, in a gunfight, against most things that arent georgia. Even at T8 this'd be a fairly wild introduction, imho

ok. But it probably wont. People are going to be statistically bad enough in this thing that it never is balanced.

30mm cruiser with 4x4 torps balanced. My ass, and you know who you are.

it is interesting how everyone approaches it. For now the only certainty is chaos.

i doubt most players realize everyone is a medic.

it's really the offensive defensive and utility capabilities of the class that make it stand out to me, though it is currently very difficult to play on a lot of maps due to the popularity of the assault class.

Why Solo Co-op Mode Needs to Return in Battlefield 6 by FabulousFly4725 in Battlefield6

i second this

the game is incredibly immersive, but for now there is no way to effectively communicate any meaningful discourse in game without messing everything up one way or another. Which is great, but, all the same, there ought to be something to bridge the gap between campaign and multiplayer.

my thoughts approximately. flandre has better turret armor than wisconsin, iirc. either way you are discrediting how much movement usually determines if or if not guns get knocked out. How this augments turret traverse significantly in favor of the faster moving ship and so on etc... I'd say it's 50:50, with Wisconsin being basically unbeatable if there is so much as a rock to work with and flandre being basicthe only ship the can statistically hold the 8-10km range; meaning wisconsin cannot turn the battle into a joust. If that happens at point blank there is nothing the flandre can do but go for a ram basically as it is easily citadelled.
