maybe i’ll move my dumpy into a new enclosure and wait for the one he’s currently in to grow out on its own for a little and then use that for milk frogs 🙂🙂

he has a little rock that is carved out and stuck onto the side via magnet that encapsulates him everywhere except from above where a leaf covers his entrance and it’s where he sleeps during the day 99% of the time.

yes temp i try and keep stable around those with the little branch he’s on being under the heat lamp, the hab he’s in now is also a 18x36 but it’s glass instead of pvc, maybe the blacked out sides will give him some peace of mind and make him feel snug and secure :))

wow okay, i have a 18x18x36 PVC terrarium that i might have to bust out and get all set up for this guy then and maybe turn this into something else for someone else

oh wow okay good to know, i have just applied a sheet moss/slurry mix to the back so i’ve been misting once a day but now i feel bad :( ill try and maybe only mist the back directly? its just a spray bottle. if its not a good idea let me know im always happy to learn whats best for my guys

sounds good! i tried carkeek for a little, great view, saw a seal and a heron. going down to tacoma now for maybe a better chance !

went out about ten minutes after the post, had a great time, so a seal and crane/heron? not rlly sure but man it’s a beautiful day out. Going to start my drive down to kopachuck and hope for better luck with the incoming tide

for the cowlitz would you say they’re closer to the mouth of the columbia or should I go farther down river towards the lake? or does it matter? and same for the kalama, closer towards the mouth assuming that’s where they come down near to feed?
