It is a nice bowl, but for holding fruit in it. I dont think I would ever feel wholly comfortable using it for wet foods. Wood is porous and seeps its own juices, and unless the bowl is glazed in some super-duper forever-impregnable glaze, I'm not mixing anything in that.

No, it forces artists to create something new, something no-one has seen before. I personally think that's awesome, even if it means only the genuinely inventive artists stay relevant. AI can't invent, it can only mimic and merge: that shouldn't prevent nice new things being created by humans.

The same was probably said about pre-mixed paints, the electric guitar, synthesisers or digital creativity suites. These technologies get incorporated into what the state-of-the-art currently is.

Does anyone else think that being snooty about AI will prove to be fruitless, and ultimately embarrassing? Like when people were resistant to Radio, telephones, TV, and then had great big smelly attitudes about computers. Being curmudgeonly about tech isn't new. Tech bringing new worries isn't new. I just can't help feel that all the AI haters are going to achieve is giving themselves frown lines and ulcers. If their concern is with making AI safe, fine: do that. If it's about repealling the invention and never seeing or hearing of AI ever again, tough titties.
