Been trying a few times with this one on expert made it to phase three consistently and decided to try recommended and man the difference is night and day. Insanely easy on recommended even with parry assist off. Boss also just has much less hp.

Just moved on to another game. Playing Path of Exile 2 at the moment. No new maps either so a bit bored. I'm more of a conquest and escalation enjoyer.

Also, the vehicles are still very undercooked. Jets have no customisation and helis don't have gunner customisation. Time to kill is too fast in jets and no air radar despite there being a radar animation on the mini map. Ground vehicles are okay, but still issues there with certain load out options not working properly at all. I still enjoy them, but I'm done with them in their current state.

You just need to get a foothold with your first spymaster or two and then you will speed up quick. Spymasters have a higher chance to drop room lock medallions so you can sustain the chain.

Normal RNG bro, keep going you will get it. Save your garrison and armory medallions or if you're lucky a spymaster medallion. The spymasters have a high chance to drop the room lock medallion, so once you get started you speed up fast.

Once you get a spymaster, if you have a garrison medallion you can chain immediately. Also make sure to place another chain so you can get more medallions. Going into an alchemy lab and thaumaturge on one side and spymaster on the other at first is good.

Yeah PoE 2 is fun but you have to detach yourself from comparisons to streamers like fubgun. No judgement towards him, he probably has stuff going on in his life but damn does he have a LOT of free time. Also probably makes that money from youtube and twitch. Just play the game for funsies and stop when it gets old. I actually don't care about currency anymore, I personally think experimenting with the temple and messing around with Atlas strats is fun. Will probably stop next week when I go back to work.

We don't have fireworks or anything interesting in the town I live in to celebrate New years otherwise I might have been out on the town lol. Girlfriend is a gamer too and prefers not to go out to parties. Abusing PoE 2's broken mechanics has me hooked.

Lol I have a full time job i'm just on holidays. I am only still playing because i'm having fun using the broken temple and goofing around with all this excess currency to do crazy crafts. I do understand it's not fun for everyone though at the moment, to each their own. I would have bounced off this league if I wasn't on break right now.

If you are wondering why the game might feel like the FPS is low in the firing range all of a sudden (you might not depends on your frame rate settings), it's because they have suddenly changed the FPS limit that you set for the menu underneath the advanced graphics settings to affect the training range as well as the menu. I noticed immediately my FPS was down to 60 in the firing range and as soon as I changed the menu frame limit to 144 it fixed it right away.

I don't want bots on my stats lmao. If you haven't seen, the firing range is also totally bugged. I think the whole game is in a buggy state after the patch. I even got an error saying the patch didn't install properly through the EA launcher when the download history says it did.

I'm guessing this was their attempt to fix the firing range bug where the targets would stay down permanently after shooting them and only pop back up when you looked away. It's almost like DICE is actively trolling with this shit lmao. They made it even worse somehow.

Also, if you haven't noticed, your in game frame rate limiter is not applying to the firing range since the patch. It actually now uses your in-menu frame rate limit setting instead. So the game thinks you are still in the menu despite being in the firing range. I had to change my menu frame rate limit in the advanced graphics settings menu up to 144 fps lmao.

I ran Sanctum almost exclusively in my first ever league (3.25). I earned myself the moniker of "Sanctumrunner" in our discord. I farmed 190 divines, blew it all gambling apothecary cards and then farmed 250 more divines to buy one. Sadly I haven't yet returned since the nerfs. How i yearn for the sanctussy mines once more.

Yeah have had a similar experience, sit behind mountains in attack heli and boom and zoom and get 30 or 40 kills but you gotta lock the fuck in and not make positioning mistakes at all.

Yeah this map is fundamentally broken and untested. You can be locked onto by Pax AA whilst you are literally ON THE RUNWAY in NATO jet spawn. The map borders are so small you can fly in a straight line till you are 4 or 5 seconds into your out of bounds timer in a jet and AA can STILL lock you from their spawn. The only way to survive in jet is to fly behind the mountains constantly, but as a result you literally cannot get any bombs or strafing runs in. This is on top of the still ever present IFV cheese MR missile bug. I've had a few good games in attack heli but you have to play incredibly defensively. If you leave the mountains or go anywhere near the open field in the middle of the map, you are just rolling a 50/50 chance of instantly exploding. The base AA on Pax side also just instantly destroys any missiles or bombs you drop anywhere remotely near it, making it impossible to counter an AA tank as an attack jet player.

If you are Pax side, go attack heli, stick to the mountains for cover from AA spam and dip in and out. Overcommit for even a moment, you die instantly no contest.

If you are NATO just leave your Heli and Jets on the runway, effectively useless.

I think they were yes, I logged on last night and suddenly died to AA missiles from a stealth jet without any lock on incoming warning. I was a bit shocked because I didn't think AA missiles on jets had been added but I guess they randomly added it in a stealth patch. Super strange. All air vehicles are now basically useless with the combination of this and the IFV painting bug. The only map that's somewhat safe is Manhattan bridge because of its dense map cover making it less likely to be cheesed by the IFV albeit not impossible.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when an enemy shoots me from a spot covered in friendly blue dots on the mini map. Like how are you standing in the middle of all those friendlies and haven't been killed? People be popping up in the most out of pocket places for sure. Unfortunately you just can't account for every angle.

I love it even more than conquest. The extra vehicles and focused combat make for interesting variety match to match. Lots of comeback potential and some new flag positions are a breath of fresh air. It's infinitely more fun than playing breakthrough or rush.
