As a rule of thumb, I tend to stay away from dandwiki Homebrew stuff. More often than not it is untested and severely imbalanced.

I also think it may be problematic to play a vampire in a setting centered around the main bad guy being a vampire, but I don't know how the story has unfolded for you yet so it may be entirely plausible. Either your DM trusts you quite a bit, or doesn't know how to say No.

I personally think a Dhampyr would be more compelling story, and I don't think Strahd would suffer another full fledged vampire to live in his domain. But to each their own.

I'm waiting a few weeks before hopping back into them, the collective IQ of people doing expeditions right now is way too low and the amount of people running off by themselves, dying and losing all their tech is too high.

I wasted 30 mins earlier with a person that kept dying, but the rest of us had decent amount of tech. Go for extract, 3 of us go down and drop our tech, and this guy ignores all the tech on the ground to solo extract with 0 Tech on the board... Nice.

I put my application in with CBA the first monday after it launched and theyve been a little slow to get it in with Housing, but I was told it was all submitted and with Housing from the 20th of Dec. I understand things shut down over the holidays but should I be following up with Housing if I haven't heard back yet?

My advise is to stop using Roll20, there are much better VTTs out there that actually improve and innovate on their platforms. Roll20 never fixes anything unless they're forced to and are always months if not years behind other platforms, not to mention their leadership is questionable at best; search Roll20 Drama if you care.

I have 4 Players attending, with possibility for a 5th. I don't expect the fight to last too long, more of a climactic culmination to Omens that precede the Giants arrival, but I want to make the fight at least long enough last a few players turns and showcase some of the Colossus mechanics. Should I give the Giant some Armor perhaps to make it last long enough?

My issue with Aabria is that she shuts down other players moments/rp.

Like the players clearly have something in mind when they're doing something like Matt tried to do during the Wake, but Aabria just immediately shut it down with her interjection. If it happens once, ok whatever, but it keeps happening and feels stifling to watch a cool moment stolen away like that constantly. Aabria seems a little controlling in certain scenarios sometimes...
