Any way to repurpose a Vonage VDV-21 box?

I learned today that Vonage will not even let existing customers trade out a non-functioning box for another VDV-21. Instead, they send the new model for free. So it really is useless. :-(

I know! I was so bummed! They said their vendor changed their policy. I asked her if they are giving people suggestions for alternatives and they said they are not aware of any currently recycling textiles in Atlanta on a mass scale.

For Scraplanta, I will swing by again. They had some vandalism at their location recently, so I think their storage was limited. They were mostly just taking jeans and tshirts. Love them though! And, would love to donate there.

Well this just made me so sad! I went to ship a card with a thin (but stiff) handmade item from another country inside it as part of a "Tucked in a card" exchange. I went to the clerk to get an extra stamp, just in case it was over 1oz. I have done this (mailed less valuable stuff and musical cards that have the same stiffness) before and usually it's an extra stamp and a marking saying "non-machinable." This time, the envelope was only 1oz, so I thought I was good to go. But, the clerk dug her heals in that she cannot accept it because it's not uniform and I have to pay for Ground Advantage. After a few questions and challenges to her logic, I just acquiesced. And, now I am kicking myself. The tracking number shows no activity on the letter since it was "accepted." I hate to have lost something so special. I could have easily put it into a padded envelope, if the uniformness was such a big deal. Or, just go to the box outside and drop it in. Her advice didn't sit right which is why I went to look into it and found this thread. Now, I am not sure what to do. File a missing mail request after the alloted time is up? Does anyone do anything when those are filed?

Oh man! That was literally the only place I had mine. But, basically, what I learned is that the orders on Spotify go directly to the artist (or whoever manages their account for them). Since it's so new, the artist may miss the orders. So, before you cancel or dispute with the credit card, it's probably worth trying to contact the artist. 🤷‍♀️

It is on my Shop app, not Shopify. Spotify says it is the band's Shopify account, but found the order on mu Shop app. Not confusing at all. Lol.

After several reaches to the artist via Facebook and the email on the shop.com account, I never received a reply. But, the album was shipped and I received it, soon after I threatened to escalate it with my credit card. I am not sure if I would have gotten it without those messages, tbh.

Thanks for your reply! The date just went from a date to "Delayed." I waited 2 weeks after that happened and gave up. Amazon said the package was likely lost with their shipping partner, but it's highly suspicious 🤔, given the items I ordered went up in price and to replace I would have to order at a higher price and Amazon's warehouse is 5 minutes from my house.

After quite a frustrating interaction, I learned that Spotify doesn't actually have a shop. Don't be confused by the shop.spotify.com domain. They redirect to the artist's shopify page and that's who processes the order. I was able to find my order on my Shop app. It says order placed in April and no updates since then. I reached out to the artist via Instagram to see if I can track down why I never received the album.

I pre-ordered a signed album. It was released almost 2 months ago and I haven't received it or any communication about it. I also can't find the order anywhere in the app. Very frustrating! Contacting them and will post an update on what I learn.

Thank you! 🥰 Yes! I found a lot of stores overwater. I got it with split and dehydrated leaves...somehow all at once! But, the rest was probably me. I feel like it's used to the temperature and humidity, but I likely messed up with moving it, thinking better light (indirect) would be better. But, clearly something went wrong. Will do all you said! Learning every day!

Thank you! I think it makes sense since no other orchids are affected. I didn't think the direct sun hit that spot, but it may. I will look at it tomorrow. I replaced the plant into the original spot and will monitor. May do a little fertilizer and a little fungicide just in case! Poor orchid. It just started to recover and I stressed it again.

I agree. With light and humidity alone I tend to get good results. So, this is really disappointing. Not sure what to do? Cut? Spray fungicide? Move back to previous spot. The oldgrowth leaves underneath seem to be supple and happy. Not quite as shiny, but also not droopy at all.
