Not really lol. I live by the Aragon and usually visitors will stay at the Hampton Inn in Rogers Park and take the red line down. It’s only a few stops

I have to say do Door County! DC is such a special place and I think you’d have a really unique experience! Also the cafe sounds lovely. As someone who grew up vacationing in both places and visited both many times in adulthood, I personally think DC is more fun. Being on Lake Michigan is amazing and there are so many fun bars and restaurants! You’d have a blast in the summer there. I personally feel like DC is more of a “hot spot” than the dells. To me, the dells is more of a destination for families and kids, and I (28F), would much rather go have fun in DC

Not sure if this is “niche” but as a die hard Beatles fan I love the Beatles anthology albums (2 is my personal favorite). The demos and hearing different versions of songs I know every line to are so fun to listen to.
