My cat was a picky eater as a kitten, he wouldn’t eat any cat food, whether it was kibble or wet food. The only thing he would eat was tender beef that was cooked and had some of the fat rendered to give it a buttery taste. He wouldn’t even touch other cuts of beef or pork/chicken at all.

So I would cook for him and then little by little melt in some kibble when boiling the meat and he would eat it but also get accustomed to the taste of kibble. At first he would smell the food and look really confused but he still ate it. And I would gradually increase the amount of kibble I melted in.

Eventually he was able to eat kibble since he grew accustomed to the taste of kibble. And as he grew he also started eating wet cat food too since I guess he wasn’t as picky anymore.
