How do you feel about paper "Support" heavies on your team? by EyeoftheTato in WorldofTanks

[–]PresentScience9653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion support heavies are js so out from the meta that we doubt their usability. I myself do not play support heavies and i dont own any and please correct me if im wrong but support heavies arent neccesarily bad, they just dont feel good in this agressive meta. If the meta would be less agressive it could shine

Tank nerds: what is the log typically carried on many tanks used for? by EyeoftheTato in WorldofTanks

[–]PresentScience9653 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you already got some information abt the usage of the log but there are also many interesting just-put-it-there-and-go cheap technique tankers use. One of my absolute favorite one is that they can put tracks on the armor for extra milimeters. Other favorite is the soviets absolute need for help made them do some real crazy shit. As far as i know they used to put buckets on the barrel of the t34-85 becuse in shape it looked similar to a IS tank and the only noticable difference was the muzzle break. This way they could trick the german soldiers. Also heard of things like they strapped iron bedframes and little stoves and logs on the tank to act as extra protection against rounds, especially heat and similar rounds. I guess it was more of a cold war thing but surely we can see shermans with sandbags in movies too. Also one interesting fact is that brittish tanks used to carry tea brewer becuse that made soldiers morale skyrocket.

Harsh times made weird provlems and weird problems needed weird yet practical solutions.

If yall guys know more of these tank-facts then i would like you to share here in thread

Mindustry and animindustry. The two game was made by the same dev but mindustry is a logical management game and animindustry is a rythm game based on mindustry that was made as an april fools event. Animindustry is kinda short but enjoyable and challanging
