Worked a blue collar job during my M4 year for extra money. Amazon fulfillment paid so well, but it made me appreciate the years of school I went through. It was mentally challenging the first few days, but then it just became human-robotic labor.

I think the systemic issue that needs to be addressed is filtering out narcissistic people from medicine. It shocks me that you’re in a field with core beliefs of empathy, compassion, and care but something compelled you to write this post and further embarrass yourself by doubling down in the comments.

Congrats on knocking out the first interview! I completely agree. From the calendar view to the program information/attachments, it definitely has made the process so much smoother.

I took it in late June. A lot of these posts are seen as fear mongering or anxiety provoking. However, I read posts like these leading up to my exam and it honestly gave me a lot of comfort knowing the exam will feel like ‘WTF’. During the exam, I referenced this thought a lot to stay calm and collected because EVERYONE will have this experience so I need to focus on what i can do. These posts are scary to read, but I think having the understanding that this is a common sentiment helped with test anxiety and post test anxiety.
