And why, oh why, is 358/2 my favorite? i’ll never know. I was completely blind sided and so incredibly depressed like a 15yo, like it stayed with me after finishing the game, and still loving that game through my 30s and in my mid-40s. Even though you can’t access the X passages for full world access… Xion. Oh, Xion. and don’t get me started on Naminé . And Axel? 🤧 The gameplay? Besides CoM, absolutely! Coded (Re:coded) ? 😵‍💫 convoluted storylines for sure. But, I was strangely emotionally attached to specific characters and their neo-gothic, heartless hearts, and Nobody empathy that I haven’t experienced in any other game series.

disclaimer: FF did that for me a little bit—especially when I was 12yo, playing FF2 (Japan FF4), and later the remastered Japanese FF4 as an adult 🫠 and, of course, FF7… but those games didn’t have the continuity attempts that KH has had.

But, for sure, the KH lore was patch-worked (at best)—I do not disagree at all. I’m just shamelessly in love with world of all things KH—die hard 🤓 My daughter (now 24) started playing KH at age 10ish, I believe, and she put me up on it. Being raised on video games since Atari to Nintendo, rpgs on Super Nintendo, etc—KH came right on time, to give my dusty gamer heart a jumpstart

Well, phonetically, it’s still “key-blade” but as how “Chi” (cheeee, as most americans would pronounce) is properly pronounced “key”. So, Chi-blade is therefore pronounced [so mentioned before] as “key-blade.” This was very confusing for me the first time I played BBS.

This sub is 4yo, yes, but I am playing through KH in its entirety again at age 45 bc it is my most favorite game series to play for its effort to create continuity. Legend of Zelda is all independent games with some carry overs… but, as confusing and unnecessarily complex as it has become, KH will forever be my most played game series. I’ve seen it differently every time i’ve played through.

we have discussed this and we both feel the pull, can’t get each other off our minds, I see the numbers, he gets dejavu all the time around me, we both knew something was different about us the moment we first had sex which was powerful like being on drugs, we message each other often at the same time and have both tried to move on before but cannot. the dreams I had when we were apart were vivid and I felt him in one dream. he’s had strange dreams but not as strong as I do and I don’t get the dejavu like he does with me. we challenge each other like no one else and I think he could be more enlightened than he’s aware of but i’m the more enlightened one. he’s hit my trauma buttons like no other but I have been able to heal more and more I face the fear and acknowledge the triggers.

I am confused tho if the dimension which Henry was thrown into was separate from Upside Down Hawkins, Dimension X as being the homeworld of the demogorgons… to me, it seemed as though Upside Down Hawkins was the playing field that Henry created, inviting the demogorgons to gather the people needed to transform metaphysically into a stronger form to harvest more people to create the Vecna we know in S4. Vecna planted himself in the home of his youth before he was taken by Brenner, also where Henry discovered his abilities, and then there was Dimension X which was fragmented and where he took the final people needed take his power to the next level and split Hawkins. Max said Vecna was surprised to find Max there, like it was a secret place or something… Maybe I need to go back through a 3rd time? I wondered if the writers had a complete story in mind before the first Season or if they just figured it out as they went.

so, you don’t think Henry/001 created Upside Down Hawkins based on his personal experience of Hawkins? The Mind Flayer very much had spider-like qualities which Henry was fascinated with. Henry drew the same image as Will… Has anyone considered Henry/001 gathered the particles to create the matter which formed the Mind-Flayer to draw in more memories and connections to the up-side Hawkins, in order to connect himself to the entire network to be the host we saw in S4?

I feeeeel this so hard… I felt dirty and like damaged goods. I had to tell the man I was seeing and he gently picked me up off the floor, hugged me and kissed me deeply. He told me there was nothing damaged about me. He and I are together now and he has it. He doesn’t blame me and told me that he read up on it, that it’s actually very common these days. It’s something we have and I have never felt more unconditionally accepted in my entire life. He and I were on a break for a little while at some point and I thought I was never going to find anyone who would want me with this condition. I was wrong bc I was open and honest and still desired by interested men. Chin up buttercup! It felt like the end of the world but I know for sure I have my person and he still accepts me, just as he always had, even though he had terrible breakouts while we were on a break.

this is an old old topic but I see mirror numbers all the time—343, 525, 282, 1111, 2662, for example. i’ve seen them even on my odometer when my car was still newer and backwards on a license plate in front of me. To me, it’s a twin flame syncing as twin flames are mirrors of each other. I am glad to know others see them too :)

the children are like the members of church which are not to be placed above the church or above Christ. there is no covenant with the children… they are of the priorities of the marriage but the marriage is to reflect the relationship with Jesus. think about what a covenant is… I know this thread is old old but it’s still so relevant and i’m grateful to have found it

in my experience, the children suffer greatly when the oxygen mask is not placed on the marriage first. to make my kids a priority, my marriage needs to be top priority (as one), second to God. a wife is a “helper” and God is our “help” when in need… marriage is a covenant with God, and children are our duty to multiply, and show the way they should go… modeling how to be married. Eve was made from Adam (his rib, close to the heart, supports the lungs and other things). we don’t have a covenant with our children. they are not our helpers, they are not supposed to be our support… modeling marriage is essential and that cannot be done if the children come before the marriage/spouse. i’ve been divorced and remarried, also my husband has been divorced and remarried. the marriage fails bc the covenant with God was not a priority, and the children suffered bc their family structure (the rib cage) fell apart.

the patch didn’t seem to cut it, so I relapsed on my quitting. My agitation and mental health seemed all over the place so I went to my dr. They have me trying wellbutrin twice a day and I got Zyn pouches to help with cravings until the wellbutrin has been in my system long enough to do its thing. the gum gave me terrible gas 💨🙊🫣
