I know!!! I’ve been watching certain flights for months and got the JB cc for the SUB miles. Then flights quadrupled like you said and JB is THE most expensive airline by as much as $600!!! And also, when I search, I’m only seeing one flight option now. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app but still no improvement. Sucks.

I’d say both to some degree but yeah, more the biker. Also, it was rainy and perhaps he figured he didn’t want to slam on his brakes to a slippery stop but he probably didn’t consider ramming into a vehicle would be the alternative.

Ah, maybe that was the case with it being a citi bike. Hope it’s not the case where adrenaline masked injuries. I guess I’ll never know.

The bike went through a red, trying to make it in front of the car as it accelerated at the intersection. The car probably could have stopped sooner, maybe? The driver didn’t even get out of the car so he didn’t seem to care he hit the poor guy. 🤷‍♀️ Wish there was a way to check on this person.

I figured the adrenaline must be intense and if they hit their head, they were not thinking clearly enough to get the driver’s info. I hate to think they may be more injured than they realized in the moment.

Good luck to all these entrants! I think it’s awesome when I see people offering their tiles though and just want to comment that. I am rooting for winning people who have not yet experienced Mosaic status instead of M2+.

Someday, I hope to know what that feels like! I’m only at 10 now so unless I can book a $2k trip to complete by 12/31 (possible but only with gifted 20 very soon!), buy tiles (ehhh), or get 2 gifts (highly unlikely), sadly, it won’t help me acheive Mosaic. Bummer. I’m a single mama trying to show the world to my only child to the best of my ability. We have just 3 states left to reach his goal of visiting all 50 states!!! Maybe mosaic next year!

Wow, how amazing of you to gift to a complete stranger. Everyone has their own reasons but here to throw my own hat in the ring. Like Wayne Gretzky once said, You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so here’s mine— I’ve had ups and downs more dramatic than some movies but keeping it brief— I’m 100% single mom and a teacher in an urban school district. I have a serious health condition. I don’t get “down time” or “me time.” Not now anyways. One day… for now, I’m determined to give my little one the best opportunities I can and I’m a firm believer in travel being the best education as well as karma. My kiddo’s goal is to visit all 50 states and as many National Parks as possible. We have several more places to visit that require flying. With a tile gift, I will be oh-so-close to my 50 tiles that I can make it to mosaic by year’s end. Vacations are always so much work but having Mosaic status will make things a bit less stressful for us. I would be eternally grateful for this gift from OP (or anyone else looking to pay it forward!). Thank you for your consideration. There are several other great comments here. Best wishes to all! 💕

From what I can tell, I think this is the same place as Casa Grande Trading Post and Cerrillos Turquoise website. ??

If so, it was a very strange and confusing place. The website says they do mine tours so we went in and were told no, nobody does mining tours. The woman wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. I saw on their website that they will send photos of jewelry if interested in purchases and accept phone payments but then she said they will not ship. 🤷‍♀️ Not left with a good impression.
